I strive to find real-life workable solutions for the families I serve, realizing that a marriage might be over but a family still stands. I want to educate my clients on the impact of conflict on children so they can make the best decisions for the future health of their family. I work closely with my clients to ensure they understand their options and rights so that they can make informed decisions about their future. I bring a breadth of experience with high-conflict families to every family law case I handle. I find family law particularly fulfilling because it allows me to assist clients with difficult, deeply personal issues. As an attorney, I believe it is important to use the training and knowledge I have to help clients achieve fair and reasonable results in their cases.

My goal is to help clients make good choices as they reform their families, or as they make adjustments to prior agreements that support their children’s best interests. I am passionate about protecting children. I have been a certified Guardian ad Litem since 2009 and spend a good bit of my time representing children and families in the juvenile courts throughout the State. I fight to make sure that the law works on behalf of those who need it. In addition, I am also a registered mediator for general litigation, domestic relations cases and juvenile matters.

It is important to give back to my community, and I contribute my time to programs that helped shape me as an attorney. For the past several years, I have coached trial advocacy teams at area high schools. This involves teaching students the fundamental skills of trial advocacy. I am very passionate about continuing to provide up and coming students with real world experience while also continuing to hone my own trial skills. I have also participated as a judge in these events.

I am a native of Fort Lauderdale, Florida and a 2006 graduate of Florida State University. I graduated from FSU with a triple major in philosophy, psychology and political science. After graduating from FSU, I attended Faulkner University, Thomas Goode Jones School of Law, and graduated in 2009. I received the Distinguished Public Interest Award for public service to others during my time in law school, all while volunteering full-time for Legal Services Alabama.

In 2009, I was admitted to the Alabama State Bar and became licensed to practice in all state and federal courts throughout Alabama. I have been an active member in the Alabama State Bar, Montgomery County Bar Association, and the Family Law Section of the Alabama State Bar for over 12 years.

When not practicing law, I am an active member of the Junior League of Montgomery and Rotary International, while sitting on the board of CASA of Montgomery County and the board for the ASB Family Law Section. I enjoy traveling with my husband and two small children, playing tennis and being involved with my parish.
